The system is best suited for high-volume, low force testing applications like packaging materials or paper. The system is available in standard and long-travel versions ideal for testing high-elongation materials.

The X100 is a completely digital testing system featuring high precision control and accuracy. The system features automated computer control of test methods, enabling easy operation:
- Automated recognition of load cells and extensometers, with on-device storage of calibration parameters
- Delivers high-resolution load cells with better precision over ±0.5% down to 1/1000th of the load cell capacity
- Features an 800% overload capability of load cells without damage
- The software calibration check facility enables real-time verification of machine accuracy
- Accurate crosshead control through digital AC servo drive and brushless servo motor provides maintenance-free operation and 20,000 pulses/rev positional control
- The system comes with high-efficiency pre-loaded self-cleaning ballscrews for quick and silent testing and is built with sealed-for-life lubricated end bearings
- Delivers accurate alignment and smooth running using the crosshead guidance system
- Loaded with a high-speed data collection system for up to four synchronous channels
- The system is available with a broad range of contacting and non-contacting extensometers, which includes laser and video models
- Compact footprint design ensures the economy of bench space
- Features a wide range of grips and fixtures for compression, tension, shear, flexural, peel, product testing, etc.
- Provides overtravel, overload and impact protection
- Additional protection for ballscrews against dust and testing debris ensured through telescopic covers
- Expansion channel for additional devices like micrometers, extensometers, balances, calipers, etc.
- High stiffness loading frames with solid specialized steel crossheads and rigid extruded support columns using T-slots for accessory mounting
