The laboratory beating of Pulp is a widely accepted method of simulating commercial refining practices. Physical testing of laboratory-beaten pulps provides significant data that aid in determining the ultimate performance of pulp when converted to paper. Since the PFI Beater is a self contained unit, no special installation is required.

Simple to Use

For customers producing controlled batches of hand-sheets the Messmer Buchel Beater is unquestionably the simplest device to use. The small sample size and automatically controlled beating sequence reduce the need for operator intervention, it is simple to operate and easy to clean. Standardized reference pulp is available for calibration check routine.
